Commercial Ceiling Cleaning

Ceilings are the largest surface in most buildings and the one nobody cleans. Whether yours is exposed deck, suspended tile, timber or a feature bulkhead, we clean it from the floor where we can reach and from powered access where we cannot.

Ceiling Cleaning
OVERVIEW

A ceiling is the single biggest uninterrupted surface in a commercial building, and in most facilities it has never been cleaned. Dust settles there for years, and because it is above everything else, it eventually comes back down onto floors, stock, equipment and people.

Different ceilings need different handling. An exposed deck with open joists has hundreds of edges and ledges holding dust. A suspended tile grid collects it along every T-bar and around every diffuser. Timber and slat ceilings in restaurants trap it between boards. A painted bulkhead in a retail store shows every mark.

We match the head and the method to the surface, and we vacuum the dust away rather than brushing it down. That distinction matters in an occupied building: brushing a ceiling simply relocates the problem onto whatever is beneath it.

Most ceiling cleaning happens outside your operating hours, overnight or at weekends. In retail we have worked with the store open, using floor protection and controlled work zones below the area being cleaned.

WHERE THIS APPLIES

Applications

Open deck and exposed structure ceilings in warehouses and industrial buildings, suspended tile grids in offices and institutional space, feature and bulkhead ceilings in retail, timber and slat ceilings in hospitality, and atrium and skylight ceilings in shopping centres.

WHY IT MATTERS

Benefits

Removes the dust that keeps reappearing on floors and surfaces below, restores the appearance of a ceiling that is part of your interior design, and takes the accumulation off a surface that most cleaning contracts never touch.

EQUIPMENT

Equipment We Use

Telescopic carbon fibre poles with brush and microfibre heads, HEPA-filtered vacuum extraction, camera inspection from the ground, and powered access up to 75 feet for atrium and high bay ceilings.

SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS

Work areas beneath active cleaning are controlled and, where required, barricaded. Surfaces below are protected before work starts. Powered access is operated by Working at Heights trained, licensed operators under a site-specific hazard assessment.
